Watch out Martha Stewart!

The Sisters Seavers (like the Brothers Grimm?) were invited to a holiday cookie party that will be held tomorrow night. We scoured the internet for a recipe for something a little different and decided on Stained Glass Cookies.

The process was fairly simple, just a little time consuming.

We crushed various flavors of Jolly Ranchers to use as the filling.


The crushed candy got spooned into the holes in the middle of the cookies.


We waited patiently and watched the progress...


The results are pretty neat.




I'd say we might be in the running for best looking cookie...but maybe not best tasting...hehe.


P.S. It snowed again on Tuesday night. We took Henry out for a short romp in the snow on Wednesday morning. He sported his new sunglasses and seemed pretty happy about the whole thing. What a hilarious little boy.
